This page was created because I read an article in the May 2018 copy of the Magazine titled North & South. The article was titled Brothers in Arms. This article is about two brothers from Auckland who went and served in the US Marines during the Vietnam War. If you are a Vietnam Veteran and you have the opportunity to read the article I am sure, like me, you will find it very moving. After reading this article I decided to create this page to acknowledge any other Kiwi Soldiers of other military forces that served in Vietnam during the Viet Nam War. From May 1962 until April 1975 approximately 61,000 personel served in the Australian Forces in Vietnam. Of those 191 Australian Service Personel were originally from New Zealand. They vary in all three forces and in many units of the forces. When I began this page I managed to get the four people below for a start:

The book titled "New Zealands Vietnam War" by Ian McGibbon states 184 Australian Service Persons are KIWI - our scource states 191 and the serviceman B Pilmer from the US Forces is not mentioned in this book either.
