I decided to create this page to acknowledge any other Kiwi Soldiers of other military forces that served in Vietnam during the Viet Nam War. The helmet above with "Kia ora" on the side is a picture of the helmet that belonged to Cpl Lott mentioned below. Press on their Medals to read more.

The following four completed their service and returned to their homes: Mike GOLABOSKI - Chu Lai 1967-68 - AUCKLAND Garry LOTT - US Marine Khe Sahn 1967-68 – AUCKLAND (Brother to Cpl JE LOTT - mentioned above) Errol PALMER – HAURAKI Capt Brian PILMER – US Marine (Pilot) USS Tripoli and Guadalcanal - GISBORNE
Both Errol Palmer and Brian Pilmer attended CCNZ in Hamilton during the early 1960's. Brians brother is Murray Pilmer who also served in the NZ Army now retired in Napier..
From May 1962 until April 1975 approximately 61,000 personel served in the Australian Forces in Vietnam. Of those 191 Australian Service Personel were originally from New Zealand. They vary in all three forces and in many units of the forces. When I began this page I managed to get the four people below for a start:

The book titled "New Zealands Vietnam War" by Ian McGibbon states 184 Australian Service Persons are KIWI - our scource states 191 and the serviceman B Pilmer from the US Forces is not mentioned in this book either.
